THERE ARE SEVERAL TYPES OF WEDDING CEREMONIES

Most weddings are unique in their own way - whether it be the location/venue, the type of vows the couple chooses to use, or whether it be a themed wedding, a formal or semi-formal wedding, semi casual or very relaxed.   Remember this is YOUR day, one that you will remember for the rest of your lives.  Choose it as you want to remember it.  Formal, or fun, or a combination of both.  The vows that you take may be serious, but the ceremony and your wedding do not have to be.

It is my job to assist you in any way possible to make your day as memorable as possible.

FORMAL

Usually formal weddings are held late afternoon or evening. Formal wear means that the groom and all male members of the wedding party wear tuxedo's, and women are in long attire.

In true formal weddings all guests will be appropriately dressed :  ie.. men will be in tuxedo's, suits etc., and women will be in long or cocktail length dresses, or very dressy pantsuits.

THEMED WEDDINGS

I have on several occasions been asked to officiate at Themed weddings.

This may be for Halloween, or other themed events such as Hawaiian Luau, Tropical Paradise, or The Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

I have no problem with participating in the theme if the couple so desires.

I have dressed as Aphrodite, I have Hawaiian and tropical attire, etc... and yes even a hat for the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.  Sometimes I might have to increase my pricing slightly if I have to purchase special attire for the theme of the wedding, but not always.

SEMI FORMAL

Groom and groomsmen in tuxedo's, male guests usually in suits, or sports jackets, women in suits, nice dresses or dressy pantsuits

SEMI CASUAL

Groom and groomsmen may or may not be in tuxedos, but if not will definitely be wearing suits.  Guests will be in more comfortable relaxed attire.

CASUAL

Some couples opt for an even more relaxed approach to their weddings, especially when they are being held in their own home or in the park.  Guests are requested to come comfortably attired, and that can mean anything from casual slacks, jean or even shorts, depending upon weather.
